Bubba on Pill Mills

November 10th, 2011 by Staff

www.wtsp.com - The U.S. Attorney General is intervening on Florida to battle the state’s pill mill problem.

Nationally syndicated 102.5 The Bone radio show host Bubba the Love Sponge thinks the problem might never be solved.

“This is a good start, but, it’s far from solving the problem of pill mills,” Bubba said. “Law enforcement should have the support and resources needed to put an end to this practice in Florida.”

Concerning Pill Mills they are taking this too far. My husband is disabled with severe nerve damage he has so much pain, taking a shower hurts. He can’t find a doctor down here because they are so scared to prescribe pain medication. He travels every month 2 hours to Tampa just to see a doctor. They have taken this too far. Legitimate patients are getting screwed because Law enforcement is so jacked-up with ‘cracking down’. GIVE ME A BREAK – there has always been one drug or another that people abuse. That will never stop. Maybe they should do something useful and crack down on heroin, marijuana, crack cocaine, or all the illegal’s here instead of harassing doctors about what medications they give a patient. I’m not speaking of these clinics that make money faking patient problems. I’m talking real pain management doctor’s that have inform my husband they won’t except him because of the amount of medication he’s on but he’s been hurt for 17 years. (He was almost cut in half)! Maybe this issue should be discussed.
