Molestations lasted two years, according to report
A producer for the popular Paul and Young Ron radio show was busted Monday, accused of molesting a 14-year-old boy, according to a Broward Sheriff’s Office report.
Steven Brancik was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with four counts of molestation and a one count of lewd or lascivious exhibition.
Police say Brancik, 42, molested the boy over a period of two years, kissing and touching him once at a bar area, while the boy was just 12, and once in a hottub at the boy’s Deerfield Beach house.
Brancik also fondled and exposed himself to the boy five months ago, according to the report.
Brancik was fired from the Paul and Young Ron Show after the arrest, according to CBS4.
The popular morning show, based in Fort Lauderdale, is broadcast on WBGG 105.9 and heard throughout South Florida.
As of this morning, the bio for Brancik, called “Branzig,” was still on the show’s Website.

LOVE THE SHOW! YOU MAKE MY COMMUTE FROM LAUDERDALE TO MIAMI LESS STRESSFUL! Here is my take on the Miami market. Paul Castronovo is one of those guys who “HAS A GREAT FACE FOR RADIO” He is nothing but a hack and tried to chum up to Neil Rogers. Neil called him out and Pauley ran with his tail between his legs. There has only been 2 times S. Fla has had a decent ROCK morning show. Back in the late 70’s early 80’s Sonny Fox & Skip Herman, on SHE 103.5, (they then wooed Fox to Y100 paid him tons of money then threatened to fire him if he did not get more enthusiastic about playing “Thriller” & Billy Jean.
WSHE then put Joey Renolyds on (To which Neil blasted off the air).
Neil went to ZETA in the AM and had HUGE ratings, why they did not leave him there I still don’t get to this day. Mike Disney was the PM. at the time, maybe he can explain?
Since then Rock radio has not been the same and Paul & Young Moron were the only game in town. Your problem is NO EXPOSURE OR PROMOTION!. Come on, MOBILE FREAKEN MIKE!!!!? I really believe that if you guys do more South FLA appearances you will win over more ratings. It defiantly hurt Neil doing his show from Toronto. Castronovo gets his fat ass anywhere that will give him a free meal and 105.9 plays the same 70 classic rock songs .
I really think it comes down to PROMOTION PROMOTION PROMOTION.
And on Steve Branzig, Didn’t he learn anything from Bill Tanner or Jean Michael McKay?

It’s weid shiz with a z when a anouther kid get’s violated but this guy new ron and paul well and they new him he was their producer for cryn out loud howdid they not know somthins up!!! first and foremost love the show guys. screw south florida , you can’t even walk into a mcdonalds without knowing how to speak another language. anyway i just hope that all these kid touchers would just Stop this stupid shiz with a z.i mean i don’t even understand how a 14,12,10,hell any age “kid” could even turn a person on! anyway just as long as you stay on 96.5 whtq, and 102.5 the bone my radio will be there.

Bubba, ADVERTISE AND PROMOTE!!! I commute alot and also am on job sites in the morning and every person who I drive with or are on a jobsite I have told to switch to 93.1, and they go ‘why?’ because they DO NOT know you are on. Once I turn the dial, it takes about an hour (if that) and they become BUBBA FANS! I even drove by the Cox Building yesterday on my commute and NO SIGNAGE at all telling people you are on the air here in South Florida!
If only the ‘powers that be’ would let you loose on promoting yourself down here, you would dominate the South Florida market, because no other show down here comes close to yours! I am so tired of middle-school radio ‘bits’ and mindless morning chat. GO BUBBA GO!!!

Brancik (Branzig) is the problem, not Paul and Young Ron. They basically own South East Florida, check Arbitron.Work on the rest of the state. You have a great show and I enjoy listening to both shows. Mobile Mike…? a strip club marketing hack.

Bro what the F are you talking about ? The story here is Branzig. I listen to Paul and Ron for years and just recently started listening to Bubba both are great shows. I’m Starting to like Bubba’s show more and more. But when I here Bitch ASS Marks like you talking shit about Langauges . I immedately picture a white skinny crack head looking ass redneck , driving a 1982 Ford pick up truck with a Confederate flag and number 3 bumper sticker. If you can’t stand living in south Fl, move your trick ass to Georgia or another one of those white only states if their are any left. Ignorant son of a trailer park bitch.
